About the Team
Founder & CEO
Samantha Pratt is CEO and Founder of KlickEngage. She graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a B.S. in Applied Psychology as a Jack Kent Cooke Scholar. She served as a Teach for America (TFA) 2015 corps member in Miami-Dade County where she taught 5th grade science for three years. While teaching, in 2017, she participated in an incubator as part of a partnership between Venture Hive Miami and TFA where she cultivated the idea for KlickEngage. In 2018, she was part of the first cohort for Miami EdTech and went on to win 3rd place in the Miami Herald Business Challenge and 1st place in the pre-pilot track of the Social Innovation Award. Most recently, she became a 2019 Camelback Venture Fellow, a finalist in the Harvard HIVE Pitch Competition, a Kravis Lab Moonshot Fellow, and a graduate from the Harvard Graduate School of Education with a Ed.M in Education Policy and Management.

Victor Moreno is a software engineer with expertise in a broad range of technology areas. Victor is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect- Associate, an AWS Certified Developer, and a cross platform mobile development expert. The first ten years of Victor's career involved various technical and leadership roles, most of them in the Education industry (k-12 as well as Vocational training). In 2016, Victor became a member of the elite Freelancer network called Toptal and transitioned to full time consulting, specializing in developing prototypes for early stage startups. Among others, Victor architected and developed KlickEngage, KiddieKredit, a health tracking app, an app to learn programming, and a fitness app for desk workers. After three years consulting, Victor decided to move on to a bigger challenge and joined one of the engineering teams at Amazon Web Services, where he currently works.
Scott Garell is an executive coach for social entrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders. In his 25 years following his MBA from Harvard, Scott has led a variety of consumer technology businesses including roles as President/CEO of Ask Jeeves, Dictionary.com, and Goodshop.com. Scott also has extensive nonprofit experience serving as National Board Chair of Juma Ventures (Workforce Development) and as team lead for 4 Harvard Business School Community Partner pro-bono consulting projects. He is currently an executive coach for 9 social entrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders, most of which are technology-based.

Alice is a second year student at Boston University pursuing a Bachelor’s in Advertising. She loves new strategies to help kids learn and looks forward to the day classrooms recognize mental health to be equally as important as physical health.
